The Main Den Site

Near the middle of the territory is the den site. There's one large burrow in the main part of the area then there's four smaller burrows that surround the main one. The main den is very large with a entry that three adult wolves could enter at the same time. The main den is made up of a few large rocks and a large tunnel that leads to the four chambers underground. The burrows are just simply dug into the ground with one little chamber.

[Frost]

Frost stayed out, her fur was matted and she was starting to feel cold. She sneezed and laughed at herself, yet she wanted to go into the den. But she heard the leader say for her to sleep with her sister in the burrows.

Frost started towards one of the bigger burrows and looked over at her sister who was laying under a tree, shivering. "Come on Night, it would be better if we stayed in the burrow anyway." Frost said, then sneezed. She shook out her fur that somewhat soaked up water, then fled underground, curling up in the warmer burrow.

[Fenrir]

The storm came faster as Fenrir expected, everyone wanted to get in the den to escape the rain and the cold but the grey brute didnt mind the cold, his rough fur was perfect for this weather and he is a tough one anyway, cold doesnt care him much. He looked back to the others and said with with a strong tone, "I'll stay out for a moment." he wanted to feel the storm, this reminded him on the night of his first kill. he jumped on a rock and looked in the direction of the forest, the rain fell on his fur and his face. As long as the pups didnt go outside everything would be allright but in the night of Fenrir's first kill happend something else too. The storm was strong enough to send a flash into one of the tall trees, he didnt wanted to think about how many animals died in this night of fire and destruction.

[Chaos]

Chaos smiled as rain droplets poured upon him, he smirked at Aurora as she told him he should head in. "Ominous and I were bred for this kind of weather. Our birth den was a cavern behind a waterfall, rain reminds me of home." The large russet male sighed happily as the liquid slowly seeped into his soft pelt. He looked around the ares seeing member scamper into the shelter, Night and Frost heading to the minor dens around, and Fenrir stayed out with Chaos and Aurora. Chaos let out a deep thunderous howl, he enjoyed releasing his tune while the lightening was brightening the landscape with a pale electric blue. His damp tail was swaying side to side, the rain really made him think of home.

[Ominous]

Ominous noticed Chaos had not come into the chamber, she rose up and shook the dirt free from her pelt. She weaseled from the chamber and out the den, right into the stirring up storm. Ominous was in awe, her tail fluttered quickly. The silver pelted damsel loved nothing more than rain, she barke and yipped joyfully. The arctic-cross breeed perked up her luminous ears hearing her brother howl, she glanced over her shoulder and smiled to him. She knew he loved this weather as much as she did, their birth pack was built for pouring water. Wonderful swimmer too, however neither of the siblings have swam since well, Ominous has never and Chaos not since he was ten months old. The sleek femme-wolf rolled in the dampened emerald grass, the others may see a gloom cloud filled sky, but Ominous, she sees home. Before the madness happened, when the pack was harmonized. She quickly jumped up, the she-wolf quickly ran, unsure of where she was going, she looked back to the others and yelled. "I'll be back soon!" Her small paws gently touched the mud and pounced out moving swiftly along the soaked landscape.

Elder Clearings

[Aurora]

"Alright you two, but don't be out too long. Two pups are enough to worry about rather than yous!" Aurora chuckled a bit, it was her way of saying 'be careful' or something like that.

Aurora smiled as she turned back to Chaos, and gave a single chuckle-huff while shaking her head slightly at the russet male. Hearing his howl and someone's in the distance, the golden, cream and silver she-wolf took a quick yet large breath, swung her muzzle to the sky and opened her maw. Her throat rumbled even after the howl was let loose, into the stormy sky. Her howl normally sounds like this, a mix between a growl, snarl and howl, in the end making a purring background to a loud howl. Indeed very strange for a wolf.

Aurora was still soaked to the bone by the time she finished howling. But, for her it was kinda being cleaned without all the hassle of licking yourself or taking a swim. She was still almost being blown off of the rock in which she was sitting on, but she anchored herself with her small yet somewhat sharp claws. She'd endure it with her pack members if she wanted to, and no one would stop her. No matter what it was!

[Willow]

Willow was coiled up tightly, then she heard someone come near her chamber. The female covered in various brown she's curled up tighter, she then heard Vertrou speak.  Her ears perked up then sunk low once more, she did not reveal her face. She listened closely to his voice, and scooted a bit farther from him and more near the back of the den. Willow's fluffy tail hid her face as she spoke. "It's okay Vertrou, I'm fine. You can go now." The timber's voice was low, and distant. The she-wolf stayed in a ball and did not look at the wolf shaded with various greys. Suddenly all she could hear was the pouring rain and thunder,  a large gust of wind flowed effortlessly into the den and down into the chamber. Willow's nares soon filled with the grey wolf's scent. She was motionless, and didn't speak anymore.

[Vertrou]

Vertrou smiled knowing that Willow wasn't upset with him. He turned away from her, moving closer to the den entrance. He watched as the rain came down heavily onto the ground. He could hear the thunder rolling in over clouds. Vertrou pinned his ears back and placed his head onto his front paws. His eyes followed the fast movement of the rain drops.

[Willow]

As Vertrou left the entrance of her chamber, the femme-wolf let out a low whine. Her ears were sunk low to her caramel crown. Willow sighed and huffed lightly, 'Come on Willow, why did you stay in his chamber...' She whined once more and placed her paws over her head, she promised herself she wouldn't sleep in the he-wolf's chamber again. The adult female stood up and shook her lush sandy pelt side to side, and turned away from the entrance. She lied down facing the chambers back wall, her tail coiled tightly around her. Willow's ear hollows filled with the soothing sound of Aurora and Chaos' howl.

[Vertrou]

Vertrou peered back over to Willow as she let out a small whine. Was she having a bad dream? Vertrou didn't know, and he didn't want to upset her or awaken her.
 Vertrou pulled his gaze away from the brown female and looked back out to the dark clouded sky as Aurora and Chaos' howl rolled in along with the thunder.

[Chaos]

Chaos perked up his russet ears as he suddenly saw a silver figure race away from the den, it was his sister. Ominous said she'd be back soon, so he didn't worry. Chaos sat down beside Aurora and looked around the motionless landscape, a cutain of falling rain made the picture of the world slightly blury. But the he-wolf was still happy, his tail was waving with joy. Since his fur on his tail isn't as sleek, it allowed water to soak it faster. While the large canids under coat was still dry, the outter layer was slowy dampening. His emerald gaze flicked around, seeing Fenrir and Aurora. The arctic cross jumped down and looked into the den, seieing young Eros watching the swirling strom. Chaos smiled at his small pup, and padded near him to lick him. "When you're bigged and your pelt becomes more sleek you'll be able to be in the rain longer like I and Ominous. But for now stay in here." The male canids tail swayed as he spoke to his pup, and nuzzled him before he went back out side. He sat right near the den opening, and lied down in the muddy are covered by loose planted emerald grass. 'I wonder where Ominous ran off to...' His thoughts pondered throughout his mind as he lied there.

[Eros]

As Eros was sitting at the den opening, his tongue was lolled from his maw and is aqua gaze was on the moving smokey clouds. His view quickly changed to the swift darting frame running infront of him, it was his aunt Ominous. The small arctis cross jumped to his feet and yipped as he saw her run away, his tail was up and wagging hitting the side of the den wall. 'Why is she leaving?'  His thought was soon cut short as his dad, Chaos, came near to him and licked him. Eros pounced his fore legs up and placed them on Chaos large muzzle and licked him. The large russet male soon nuzzled the young canid, the 10 week old wolf yipped and nuzzled back with his tail swaying joyfully. He sat and listened to the adult he-wolf explain how he can venture int the rain once his adult pelt fully comes in. Eros grinned and continued to watch the rain as Chaos walked away.

[Fenrir]

Fenrir saw that Ominous ran away but she said she is back soon, so nothing to worry about. The massive brute jumped higher, on the highest position he could reach, atleast he could look over the trees now, he sat down straight,  stretching his enormous body and enjoying the storm arround him, he was a little bit alone up there and the others werent in sight but he had a moment for himself. He looked out in the storm, flashes reflecting in his eyes as he watched the sky light up. The large Grey brute let out a Strong, thunder-ish, deep and very loud howl, you could hear it over the whole land.

[Frost]

She went out and sat in the rain, the wind made her fur fly around her. The rain pelting agaisted her, Frost yipped and began to jump to catch the rain. She leaped as high as she could, her fur beginning to way her down, she began panting heard but continued to play in the rain.

[Night]

Night woke up and saw Frost was still playing in the rain. The black she-wolf shook off her pelt and stood up under the tree. She then walked over to one of the bigger burrows, the rain pelting down on her as she tried to not slip while getting to the burrow faster. But, she managed to get inside the slightly warmer burrow.

[Frost]

Frost stopped playing with the rain, and remembered how she was scared of the lake. She growled at herself, then bursted suddenly into the trees, heading towards the clearings... And the large body of water. She thought it was time to build up courage, and face her fears.... Before she changed her mind...

To Elder Woods

[Willow]

Willow soon stood up once more and shook out her pelt, getting rid of all the trapped debris. She quickly turned towards the enterance and padded out of her chamber, with her head held high she walked past Eros and Vertrou. The femme-wolf's chocolated shaded ears sunk low a bit as the rain pelted her, but she liked it. She enjoyed not having snow every where, her tail swayed as she looked around. The clan alphess was on top of the den, Chaos was beside the den, and Fenrir atop a large rock. Willow motioned her smalll caramel paws towards Chaos, the timber swayed into a seated position. Her piercing light blue gaze lit up each moment lightening struck, it's bolt's firgure reflecting clearly in her optics. As she was looking up, she began to speak. "Wow, so this is what a storm is like. I've only been in blizzards..." Her voice was full of joy and amazement, scanning from one end of the sky to the other. THe she-wolf flicked her view to Chaos and smiled kindly to the large russet male. Her caramel tail still swaying calmy, her ears soon rung with the loud howl from Fenrir. She looked up at the large brute then back to Chaos, Willow was enjoying the storm.

[Genesis]

The young golden femme exhaled and pushed, resulting in chuffing noises. She has just awakened from her slumber. Her eyes opened at once, revealing those big azure eyes. Gen then squeezed through the exit of her hare-sized chamber, and finally made it out with effort. As her paws came in contact with the low ground, her tail swayed and her thoughts busted in. She remembered that Aurora said once the rain stopped, she would take them fishing.
The young femme then broke into a dash, and stumbled into the the main area of the den. But, the rain still seemed to be pouring down endlessly. Genesis gave a low whine and sat down with her soft ears pinned down against her small head. She then laid down and rested her head against her small paws, quietly mumbling a pair of words, "Aw man..."

[Vertrou]

 Vertrou watched as Willow walked out of the den. She seemed to enjoy the rain. Vertrou didn't enjoy storms as much, but he did love water, and that was really all that rain was.
 He stood up and let out a yawn and stretched out his front legs. He then trotted out of the den, holding his head low as he trotted underneath a tree. He lifted his head up and looked off in different directions. He wanted to go fishing. It was the only thing he really enjoyed.
 Vertrou stood up and shook at his pelt before he ran out into the storm and headed for the lake.


 -Lake-

[Frost]

Frost bounded back through the trees and dashed into the den, flying past all the wolves. She laid down in one of the burrows and whined when she looked at her paw. "It hurts a lot." she whined and pressed her head on the floor. She forgot about no swimming in storms. Would she have the courage to do it tomorrow? She laid down and whined some more. "This is painful." she laughed and laid her head down, trying to ignore the pain.

[Fenrir]

Even if Ominous said that she will come back soon, Fenrir was still a little bit worried about her and as a guard, it was his job to look after pack members. The enormous brute jumped down the rock and trotted in the direction Ominous ran off, he looked back once more but didnt said anything to the others, 'They can watch themself." he thought and walked away in the forest.

 -Elder Clearings-

[Frost]

Frost curled up at the pain. It was not getting any better. She was now like a little ball of fluff, and she could not help but let out little whines. She wanted to howl so hard to see if the pain would stop, but she didnt want to alert any one. She laid there all curled up. She felt the tears well up in her eyes, and she let them fall onto her fur. Her fur was starting to dry out and become fizzy. She laid there crying, hoping the pain would stop soon.

[Chaos]

The large russet he-wolf sat up tall and firm, his frame being pelted by the harsh icy rain. Yet he did not wince, his emerald eyes stayed wide open scanning the grounds. His large obsidian-tipped receptors stayed perked and alert, Chaos was not at all phased by the rain. He stayed focused as much happened around him; Vertrou, Fenrir, and Frost had run off. Soon Frost returned and ran into the den, then something caught the male's eye. It was a calm approaching femme-wolf, Willow. Chaos glanced at her, his deep green gaze met her pale blue eyes. His tail swayed kindly as he saw the small sleek female sitting in the rain, she looked so kind and stunning. "Hello Willow, what are you doing out in the rain?" As Chaos asked Willow the question he gazed upon her frame. 'Her pelt is a bit thick, so maybe she's fine in the weather.' His ears went back a little, and he gave the she-wolf a sheepish smile.

[Eros]

Eros stood at the den's opening when a small female covered in brown shades walked past him, her tilted his head and whine a bit. He hasn't met the female yet, Eros' aqua gaze looked at the ground outside the pack shelter, watching large puddles as rain dropplets fell into them and rippled the calm surface. The small white wolf's ears fell flat, he wanted to be with his dad and the new wolf. The arctic-cross soon took a deep breath and puffed up his chest, and began to walk out into the harsh falling rain. His small white paws were soon a dull dark brown from the mud, and his new adult fur stuck to his frame. The rain sunk into his colorless pelt, and his ears fell flat, he tread the Chaos. Once Eros' was by his father he scampered and wriggled between Chaos front legs, shakingout his soaked pup coat. The young he-wolf was now sheltered by his father large frame. Eros' tail waved quickly, yipping and chuffing, he looked at the other wolf. He smiled kindly to her. "Hello, I'm Eros."  Eros' obsidian-tipped tail was still fanning quite fast, as he waited for the female to say her name. The young male's gaze was suddenly focused on the females folded ear, he tilted his head. He's never seen a wolf with an ear that's folded over.

[Aurora]

Aurora's ears perked at the Willow and Eros's voices. She looked at the small group with concern, her right ear turned away and she got off of the den. "It's bad enough that one of you are outside. Even if you were 'built for this kind of weather,' I still don't want any of you getting colds! Now go on, get inside!" Aurora said, almost ordering. Aurora leaped onto the highest point around, a rock opposite the den. Then she gave a loud, ear-ringing howl to call back Ominous, and even though Aurora didn't notice he was gone, Fenrir and all other pack members.

[Willow]

Willow smiled and fluttered her tail as the rain fell upon her, her lush light mahogany pelt began to lie against her skin. The bright flashing bolts and roaring noises infactuated her, her folded ear twitched hearing Chaos speak to her. Willow gave him a sweet smile and a flick of her tail. "Oh, hello Chaos. I just wanted to know what rain was like, I grew up in snow. The feeling of water drops seeping into my pelt is a new feeling." Her elegant voice was calm and joyful, her body quiver lightly as she felt single droplets sinking to her skin. The small female noticed the large russet males actions and giggle a bit, her tail was fluttering as her pale blue eyes gazed at him. The two wolves sat in the rain, when a small muddy white pup appeared between Chaos legs. Willow tilted her head and leaned down as he spoke to her. "Oh, hello Eros. I'm Willow, it's a pleasure to meet you." The femme-wolf's voice was soothing, her tail wagged being happy to meet the young pup. She rose her frame back up and grinned once more at Chaos. As she looked down at Eros she noticed him staring at her, as she was about to ask him what it was her was looking at Aurora jumped down near them. She ordered them to go back inside, so Willow rose to her feet and shook out her lush pelt. She began to walk into the den, then looked over her shoulder and smiled back at the large male. The adult timber wriggled down into a clear chamber and coiled up into a comfortable ball once more. 'So that's Chaos' son, what a cute pup.' Willow smirked to herself and her tail tip lightly wet up and down. She then hear the alphess howl to the other members, the piercing noise rung in her alert ears.
